OMC Unveils Courtesy Shuttle
Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) will unveil their latest endeavor in providing
quality, compassionate care on Monday, the OMC Courtesy Shuttle. This
six-passenger golf cart, manned by volunteers, will be used to transport
patients, visitors and employees to and from the parking lots and nearby
clinics. The shuttle will be available Monday thru Friday from 7:30 a.m.
until 3:30 p.m.
“We are so excited to be able to offer this free shuttle service
at OMC. We saw the need for this and we were able to fill it and provide
safe transportation to those who have difficulty walking from the parking
lot or clinic to clinic,” said Dianne Hoover, Volunteer Coordinator
at OMC. “We are seeking more volunteers to be shuttle drivers and
to volunteer at the hospital.”
For more information on the shuttle or about becoming a volunteer, contact
Hoover at 417-293-9969.
