George Willard Celebrates 1,000th Visit to OMC Cardiac Rehab
OMC Cardiac Rehabilitation Services offers patients who have suffered a
heart attack, had balloon angioplasty, stent placement, had open heart
surgery or valve a gym that includes treadmills, exercise bikes and weight-lifting
equipment. Trained staff are on hand at all times to assist patients with
monitored exercise, education and emotional support.
George Willard, age 90, recently had his thousandth visit to the Cardiac
Rehab. “OMC Cardiac Rehab’s exercise program has been very
beneficial to me. I always feel better when I get through working out.
The staff are very helpful. I’ll be 91 in March, and I feel that
I am getting around very well. I’m very happy with the care and
service that I receive here. And the staff is just super to everybody!”
Willard has been coming to Cardiac Rehab since February of 2004. He is
just one of several that have surpassed the 1,000 session. OMC Cardiac
Rehab is operated under the direction of OMC Heart Care Services. For
