OMC Foundation Blue Jean Ball is September 29
Dust off your boots and mark your calendar for the 10th Annual Ozarks Medical
Center (OMC) Foundation Blue Jean Ball. This year’s event will be
held on Saturday, September 29, at Risner’s Stables in West Plains.
A “10 Years of Giving” theme is planned.
The main stage will feature entertainment by the Cody Noel Band sponsored
by West Plains Bank and Trust Company and Valic. Engage Equine Academy
will present a horse show in the outdoor arena. There will be a diamond
giveaway sponsored by Carter’s Jewel Chest and a boot contest. Several
items will be on the auction block during the live auction including an
AKC registered English Bulldog donated by Eades’ English Bullies.
And a silent dessert auction will feature many goodies from local bakers.
All-inclusive tickets include dinner with all the fixin’s and beer,
wine, coffee and sodas. Tickets are $50 until Friday, September 28, or
$65 at the door and may be purchased at the OMC Foundation at No. 12 Parkway Center.
This year’s Blue Jean Ball committee consists of Steve DeClue, Ann
Marie Newberry, Pam Ream, Joe Kammerer, Jim McFarland, Melissa Smith,
Kelly Gleghorn, Regina Eades, Sarah Johnson, Kristi Drummond, and Erika Atkins.
Sponsorships, which include benefits of reserved seating in the “Sheriff’s
Tent” or “Under the Stars” and more also are available.

Ozarks Medical Center is a system of care encompassing a 114-bed acute
care hospital, eight family medicine clinics and 15 specialty clinics,
along with complete rehabilitation and home care services. OMC is a not-for-profit
medical referral center with over 1,300 employees, serving an eight-county
area in south central Missouri and north central Arkansas.
“Stetson” an AKC registered English Bulldog will be up for
auction during the 10th Annual OMC Foundation Blue Jean Ball. He will be 10 weeks old at the time
of the event.
