WEST PLAINS, Mo - Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) recently added Nurse Practitioner DJ Gross to its Family Medicine practice in Winona. Her office is at 9104 State Highway 19. Gross is a board certified family nurse practitioner.

Gross holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington; and completed her Associate Degree in Nursing from Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff.

“I’m excited to be practicing in Winona where I have longstanding ties to the community and everybody here is like family to me,” said Gross. “It’s a privilege to continue my career with OMC whose family medicine clinics are dedicated to improving the quality of life for all the people in our region, through accessible healthcare.”

Previously Gross worked at OMC Internal Medicine Clinic in West Plains. She also has worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Good Samaritan Clinic in Mountain View, and a Staff Nurse in high risk OB and women’s health at Women and Children’s Mercy in St. Louis. Early in her nursing career, Gross worked at OMC when it was known as West Plains Memorial Hospital, in OB and surgery.

In her spare time, Ms. Gross enjoys reading, music and travel. She is currently looking forward to a medical mission trip to Haiti, where she will be traveling with some of her fellow OMC providers.

“We are honored when a practitioner of Gross’ caliber chooses to continue their practice with OMC,” stated Pam Ream, Vice President of OMC Medical Group. “Her dedication to her patients and her community is a testament to the compassionate care that OMC values.”
