Orthopedist Edwin Roeder Joins Ozarks Medical Center
Edwin Roeder, MD, Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, recently joined Ozarks
Medical Center (OMC) Orthopedics. Dr. Roeder provides treatment for musculoskeletal
conditions through surgical and non-surgical means.
Dr. Roeder relocated to the area with his family after 21 years of practice
in Springfield, MO, where he was voted a Top Doc from 2008-2013, as named by
417 Magazine. Since 2008, Dr. Roeder was voted the top orthopedist at Ozarks Community Hospital.
Prior to practicing in Springfield, he completed a residency program at
Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, with an emphasis on sports
medicine and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Roeder earned his Medical Degree from Baylor College of Medicine in
Houston, TX. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences
at Stanford University in Stanford, CA.
His wife, Kristin, and two daughters, Elise and Elaine, are looking forward
to getting involved in the community. “We were looking for a smaller,
family friendly community,” Dr. Roeder said. “I wanted to
have the opportunity to practice general orthopedics and get to know my

Ozarks, where he and his family plan to fish.
