Podiatrist Rex Goodman Joins Ozarks Medical Center
Meet him at OMC’s Free Community Education Dinner on August 16
Rex Goodman, DPM, Board Qualified Podiatrist, recently joined Ozarks Medical
Center (OMC) Orthopedics and OMC Wound Care. Dr. Goodman provides treatment
for foot and ankle pain, sports injuries, arthritis, and diabetic foot
care through surgical and non-surgical means.
Dr. Goodman relocated to the Ozarks with his family after completing a
36-month residency program at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. His
wife, Cassie, and two sons, Hank and Beck, are looking forward to getting
involved in the community. “I grew up in Miller, Missouri,”
he said. “I wanted to come back to the Ozarks to raise my family.”
Dr. Goodman enjoys the outdoors and was inspired by the people of the area.
“The people are what made me want to come to West Plains. The coworkers
at OMC seemed very happy and compassionate about what they were doing.
It will be a great fit,” he said.
Dr. Goodman earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State College
in Kent, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences
at Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho.
Dr. Goodman will be speaking at OMC’s Free Community Education Dinner
on Thursday, August 16, at 6 p.m. The topic will be foot and ankle pain
and diabetic foot care. The dinner is free and open to the public. Reservations

Dr. Goodman joins orthopedic surgeons Dr. Susan Jolly, Dr. Chip Rowe, and
Dr. James Rushford at OMC Orthopedics. He also joins the providers at
OMC Wound Care that include Dr. Magdy Giurgius, Dr. Antony Joseph, Dr.
Alexandre Makarian, Dr. William McGee, Dr. Sonia Gerlick, and Lynsey Sullivan,
