Ribbon Cutting and Open House October 22 at OMC Pediatric and Family Medicine
Clinics in West Plains
Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) Pediatrics and Family Medicine will hold a
ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at 312 N. Kentucky Avenue. The
West Plains Chamber of Commerce will perform the ribbon cutting ceremony
at Noon, with tours and refreshments offered after the ceremony. Activities
for kids will begin at 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
OMC will host a variety of kids’ activities that are free and open
to the public. Activities will include pony rides, face-painting, bounce
house, a photo booth and much more. Kids can also visit with firemen and
a fire truck from the West Plains Fire Department, as well as pilots from
AirMedCare. Kids can sign up for a chance to win a bicycle. Adults will
also have a chance to win a gift basket. Kid-friendly refreshments will
be served courtesy of OMC.
The newly remodeled clinics are located adjacent to one another at 312
N. Kentucky Avenue, West Plains. The OMC Pediatric clinic remodel includes
different child-themed murals painted by local artists, with matching
themed exam tables, in each of its exam rooms. OMC Pediatrics offers extended
hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. OMC Pediatrics and Dr. Lambert offer
same day appointments.
