WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Twin Bridges Canoe & Campground made a donation to the Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) Foundation. The funds were raised during an ATV weekend event held at the campground to benefit OMC Behavioral Healthcare’s (BHC) efforts toward suicide awareness and prevention. Located on the banks of Missouri’s North Fork River, Twin Bridges Canoe & Campground provides high quality floating activities in a family oriented environment.

“We really appreciate the willingness of Twin Bridges to support the fight against suicide, “said Richard McGee, OMC Behavioral Healthcare Director. “We provide a 24-hour crisis hotline and these funds will be used to promote community awareness of this service.”

Formed in 1997, OMC Behavioral Healthcare offers comprehensive mental health services to children and adults including individual, couples and family counseling. The professional team at OMC BHC provides convenient, comprehensive care to keep the community mentally healthy. Services are delivered at BHC facilities in West Plains and Mountain Grove, as well as OMC clinics in Mountain View, Winona, Alton, Thayer, and Gainesville. Approximately 4,500 people receive services from OMC BHC.

“With the generosity and philanthropic support from community partners and friends like Twin Bridges, OMC continues to carry out its vision to make life better and healthier for our region,” said Carol Silvey, Vice President for Advancement, OMC Foundation. “All donations to OMC Foundation are greatly appreciated and directly benefit our local community.”
