Archana Sinha, M.D. brings Heart Care Services to OMC Mountain Grove
MOUNTAIN GROVE, Mo – Board Certified Cardiologist Dr. Archana Sinha
recently joined Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) Mountain Grove to bring heart
care services to the local community. Since 2017, she has practiced at
OMC Heart Care Services, West Plains, and is expanding her practice to
include OMC Mountain Grove.
As a cardiologist, Dr. Sinha specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases
of the cardiovascular system. If a person has symptoms of a heart condition,
their primary care provider may refer them to a cardiologist. Some of
the symptoms may include shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pain, changes
in heart rate or rhythm, and high blood pressure.
Dr. Sinha earned her medical degree from B. J. Medical College in Pune,
India. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Howard University
Hospital in Washington, DC. Prior to coming to OMC, Dr. Sinha was a fellow
in cardiology at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem,
“We are very excited to welcome Dr. Sinha to the OMC Mountain Grove
medical staff,” said Pam Ream, Vice President of OMC Medical Group.
“By expanding our heart care services we can raise awareness locally
about heart disease and help people on the path to prevention.”
“Heart disease is one of the Nation’s most costly and widespread
health problems, but it is also among the most preventable,” says
Devon Emerson, Director, Cardiopulmonary Services, OMC. “Your primary
care provider can determine if you should be referred to a cardiologist.”
If you need to establish a primary care provider, OMC Mountain Grove can assist.
