Family Nurse Practitioner Amber Long joins OMC Thayer/Mammoth Spring

WEST PLAINS, Mo – Family Nurse Practitioner Amber Long has joined the medical team at Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) Thayer/Mammoth Spring Family Medicine, located at 1375 Nettleton, Thayer.

Long previously worked for North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, Harrison, AR; and St. Bernard’s Medical Center, Jonesboro, AR. She holds a Master of Science from Walden University, Minneapolis; and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro.

Long is originally from Jonesboro, AR and has relocated to Cherokee Village, AR with her two children. Her family is excited to explore Lake Thunderbird and its activities. Long comes from a family of healthcare providers. Her mother of Harrison, AR, is a Nurse Practitioner and her grandmother was a registered nurse.

Long says she was happy to join OMC as she admires the service culture and appreciates the growth that she has witnessed. “We are very excited to welcome Ms. Long to the OMC family,” said Pam Ream, Vice President, OMC Medical Group. “Her appreciation for the local community and years of experience, make her an excellent provider.”

Fair joins Dr. Sarah Williams, and Nurse Practitioners Leslie Batterton, and Sheila Marler. OMC's family medicine clinics are committed to improving the quality of life for all the people in the region through accessible healthcare services.

Services available for adults and children include X-ray, limited lab services, Workman’s Comp, drug screens, physicals, diabetes care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
