OMC Board of Directors recognize Dr. Rodney Zimbelman’s 3 years of service

WEST PLAINS, Mo – Board Certified Anesthesiologist Dr. Rodney Zimbelman was recently recognized for his 3 years of service as a member of the Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) Board of Directors.

The OMC Board of Directors is a 15-person, volunteer committee made up of physicians and dedicated community members. The primary responsibility for assuring that OMC achieves its mission rests with this board.

“We are extremely appreciative of Dr. Zimbelman’s dedication and service to the board,” said Kevin Gleghorn, OMC Board of Directors Chair. “His wealth of knowledge and leadership benefits OMC greatly as the organization strives to deliver exceptional health care to the community.”

Dr. Zimbelman has been with OMC Anesthesia since 2013. Prior to that he practiced at St. Joseph Medical Center, St. Joseph, Missouri. He completed medical school at the University of Kansas School, Kansas City, Kansas. His internship was performed at the Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado; and his residency was at the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah.
