We are growing for our community

100,000 sq. ft. hospital expansion coming soon

OMC Foundation Ozarks Cancer Crusade is November 9

Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) Foundations invites the community to join them at this year’s Cancer Crusade Gatsby Gala. The event, in its second year, to celebrate cancer survivors will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 6 – 9 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the West Plains Civic Center, 110 St. Louis Street.

Entertainment will be provided by a 17-person big band, “Caduceus – The Doctor’s Band.” Inspirational guest speakers will include patient testimonials and Dr. Morgan, Board-Certified Oncologist, OMC Cancer Treatment Center. Dinner will be provided by Colton’s Steak House & Grill. OMC Foundation invites attendees to join them in dressing in 1920s attire. Lavender was chosen as the event color since it represents all types of cancer diagnosis.

Ozarks Cancer Crusade was established to bring awareness to and assist the approximately 4,240 cancer patients being treated at OMC Cancer Treatment Center. Many have been helped by the generosity of the community. With ongoing support, the Cancer Crusade can continue to make a difference in their lives.

Tickets are currently available for $50 at the Ozarks Medical Center Foundation, located at #12 Parkway Center, West Plains, MO, or online at https://tinyurl.com/foundationgala. For more information on sponsorships, please call 417-853-5200. All proceeds from this event go to the Ozarks Cancer Crusade Fund, which is set up as an emergency fund for OMC Cancer Treatment Center patients.

The Ozarks Medical Center Foundation, established in 1998 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) with a local board of directors, serves as a liaison between the donor and OMC to assist the hospital in providing excellent healthcare to the communities it serves.
