Pointer Blackburn & Brown Donates to OMC Foundation “Building
the Future” Expansion Campaign
WEST PLAINS, Mo – Pointer Blackburn & Brown, friends of the Ozarks
Medical Center (OMC) Foundation, made a generous contribution to the “Building
the Future” campaign benefiting the Women’s Center Expansion.
With law offices based in Gainesville, Mountain Grove, and Ava, the team
felt compelled to give because they recognize the impact the expansion
has on, not only West Plains, but the surrounding areas.
“As local attorneys we appreciate the importance of our communities
being able to obtain quality services close to home,” said attorney
Jessica Blackburn. “We are pleased to make this donation to the
OMC Foundation in furtherance of OMC’s continual efforts to meet
the health care needs of our rural communities.”
The “Building the Future” expansion campaign was created to
assist OMC in bringing many of their providers under one roof, expand
the hospital to connect to the Shaw Building, create a first ever state-of-the-art
Women’s Center in the region, and provide overall more convenient,
compassionate care to all it serves.
The Ozarks Medical Center Foundation, established in 1998 as a not-for-profit
501(c)(3) with a local board of directors, serves as a liaison between
the donor and OMC to assist the hospital in providing excellent healthcare
to the communities it serves. For more information or to make a gift to
the OMC Foundation, please call 417-853-5200.
