Our medical staff and health care professionals are here to provide personalized, high-quality medical services and we will continue to take a proactive role in being responsive to your community's needs.
As a new patient making your first visit to the clinic, you should arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to pre-register. It is important that you fill out all information completely to assist the clinic staff in taking care of your medical and insurance needs. All medical records are completely confidential. Please bring all insurance cards with you at the time of service. Patient Appointments We recommend that you make an appointment. This may not always be possible, but scheduled appointments will help avoid delays in receiving treatment. To make an appointment, call the clinic in your area during regular clinic hours. If you cannot keep your appointment, please notify us at least a day in advance so we may assign your appointment to another patient. Walk-in patients are welcome, however, emergencies and scheduled appointments (including routine lab work) take priority over walk-in patients. Special Services Most of our clinics offer X-ray and laboratory services to assist in your treatment. All procedures require orders from a physician. Services not available at our clinics, or in your community, can be provided at Ozarks Medical Center and arranged by the Ozarks Medical Center Physicians and Clinics. For

Nurse Practitioners and Physican Assistants In order to provide greater access to care in rural areas, all OMC clinics employ Registered Nurse Practitioners (RNPs) and/or Physician Assistants (PAs). These are registered healthcare professionals who have received additional education and training to allow them to perform many of the services normally provided by a physician. Services provided by RNPs and PAs include gathering a patient's medical history, providing physical examinations and offering certain treatments. RNPs and PAs also can diagnose conditions and prescribe and/or administer medicine. They can even specialize in specific areas of care - all under a physician's supervision. These health care providers assist us in maintaining a high level of care in our clinics. |
