Ozarks Medical Center has a 24-hour, seven days a week emergency department for all your non-routine, off-hour medical emergencies. People with any type of medical emergency should feel confident being seen at Ozarks Medical Center Emergency Department.

•	Trauma Team - A trauma team, consisting of an emergency medicine physician and nurse, anesthesiologist, surgeon, surgery crew, radiologist, phlebotomist, radiology technicians and a blood bank representative, is available for activation every time a critical patient is brought into the emergency department. If treatment can't be completed here due to injuries, patients are stabilized and transported to appropriate level of care.
•	Physician coverage 24 hours a day.
•	Manages Four Ambulance bases
•	Approximately 1,200 visits monthly
•	Works closely with Air-Evac Lifeteam, which has a base here as well as the corporate office

•	Monday through Friday positions also available
•	EN-Chart capable -- for compliance with Joint Commission -- new APC compliance
•	community-based not-for-profit organization -- work closely with community resources (SMSU-WP; Vocational Technology LPN program and pre-hospital services including ambulance districts and transport services

For those suffering from an injury or illness that does not require the more advanced emergency care offered in the Emergency Department, Ozarks Medical Center operates the Urgent Care Clinic. The clinic is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. Walk-ins are accepted.
