OMC Rehabilitation Services recently presented 50 gift certificates for free massages to workers at West Plains City Hall as a thank you for their efforts during the ice storm that struck the area earlier this year.
“We wanted to thank all of those who worked diligently during the ice storm in January to provide the city with the services they needed,” said OMC Rehabilitation Services Director Pam Ream.
Crews from the city of West Plains worked overtime to restore electricity and services to those who lost power during an ice storm that struck the area on Jan. 27.
“These workers spent a lot of time and effort, working in harsh conditions, to restore power and services,” Ream said. “We just want them to know how much their services were appreciated.
“The ice storm must have been a stressful time for these dedicated individuals, working in ice with fallen trees and limbs. We hope this gift will provide them with well-deserved relaxation.”
The massage gift certificates are valued at $25 and are good for a 30-minute massage, performed at OMC Rehabilitation Services by a certified massage therapist.
In addition to massage therapy, OMC Rehabilitation Services, located at 1111 Kentucky Ave., also offers physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology services.
