8:25:32 AM 		The first baby of the New Year at Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) arrived just two minutes after minute on Jan. 1. Gary and Lynette Hirsch of Thayer are the parents of baby boy Kaleb James. He weighed 8 pounds and was 20 1/4 inches long. His siblings are Rebekah, 7; Isabelle, 3; Bethany, 2; and Aubrianna, 1. Grandparents are Scott and Linda Reavis, West Plains, and Gary Hirsch, Thayer. In honor of being the first baby born at OMC in 2010, Kaleb received a gift from the OB Department that included diapers, blankets, lotions, clothes and other items. In 2009, more than 700 babies were born at OMC. Other News
