OMC Prostate Screening

September 10, 2010

•	1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 at the Shaw Medical Building
•	Screening cost is $10 (a $306 value)
•	Screening includes prostate specific antigen (PSA) test and an exam by a physician.

•	Males older than 50 or those older than 40 with a family history of prostate cancer should consider the screening.

	Facts About Prostate Cancer
•	An estimated one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime .
•	In 2008, more than 186,000 men in the United States were diagnosed with prostate cancer.
•	Generally, prostate cancer presents with little or no symptoms at early stages.
