H. Nail Aydin, MD, General and Laparoscopic Surgeon

H. Nail Aydin, MD, performs General and Laparoscopic Surgery and Endoscopy. Prior to coming to OMC, Dr. Aydin practiced at Fairview General Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland, Ohio. There, he served as chief resident in general surgery. He completed medical school and an internship at Istanbul University in Turkey and an internship in surgery from Zurich University Hospital in Switzerland. He continued his medical education at the Cleveland Clinic and Yale University. He was resident in general surgery with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Yale University’s Department of Surgery, and with Fairview General Hospital, which is also part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System. Dr. Aydin has specialized training in colorectal operations and in laparoscopy and endoscopy procedures.

Douglas Green, MD, Neurosurgeon

Neurosurgeon Douglas Green, MD, is now a member of the medical team at Ozarks Medical Center Surgical Specialists Clinic. Dr. Green has been in practice in West Plains since 2003. Dr. Green is a native of West Plains and graduated from West Plains High School. He earned his Bachelor in Science from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, now Missouri State University. Dr. Green went on to receive his Medical Doctorate from the University of Missouri Columbia School of Medicine. He completed an internship in surgery from the University of Oklahoma at Tulsa and a residency in neurosurgery from the University of Kansas. Prior to beginning his practice in West Plains, Dr. Green was employed by the McFarland Clinic in Ames, Iowa. As a neurosurgeon, Dr. Green specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders that affect the nervous system, including the brain, spinal column, spinal cord and peripheral nerves.
