Ozarks Medical Center
Women's Health Services is a community link for services, information and
support to women of all ages. Women's Health Services is located on a separate
floor of the hospital and includes inpatient and outpatient care for labor,
delivery, gynecology, post-delivery and nursery services, as well as prenatal
education. It provides a central resource location where questions can be
answered and support can be provided.

First Foto allow new parents to include their baby's photo on the Web

Infant Security System
Through
the funds raised at the 2001 BUY.COM Ozarks Open sponsored by the OMC
Foundation, OMC purchased and installed an up-to-date infant security
system. Newborns are tracked while on the floor to ensure safety of the
child and family.

Consulting
Cathy
Driscoll, RNC, IBCLC, is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant
who serves as a valuable resource for breastfeeding mothers. Services
include:

Prenatal
Classes
There is no charge
to attend any of these classes if you are delivering your baby at OMC.
However, if you are delivering your baby at another facility, there is
a one time $50 charge to attend one or all of the classes. OB department
tours will be conducted after classes for those who are interested.
Prepared
Childbirth Classes
-- recommended during the second trimester of pregnancy. These classes
cover breathing, relaxation, support, labor/delivery and C-section.
One session
classes — 6 p.m. (each class is approximately
three hours in length):

Parent Skills
