Family Medicine Virtual Visits
If you would like to see your provider while adhering to social distancing,
please contact your OMC family clinic and ask to schedule a Virtual Visit.
A virtual visit is a high-quality virtual face to face video and audio
visit allowing you to speak with your provider in a secure and personal way.
Your OMC family clinic will schedule a time for your Virtual Visit and
give you a unique internet address for you to enter into your internet
browser on your camera-enabled PC, Laptop, Tablet, or Smartphone. All
you will have to do is enter your name and you will be placed in the virtual
waiting room for your provider.
If you do not have a camera-enabled device, OMC providers are also offering
telephone visits as well.
OMC Family Medicine Virtual Visit patient instructions:
1. Call OMC Family Medicine clinic of your choice to schedule your virtual visit.
2. Take note of the unique web address that the clinic will assign to you.It
will consist of https://doxy.me/roomname, where roomname will be your
3. At the scheduled time, enter the web address into the internet browser
on the camera-enabled device you wish to use for your virtual visit.Internet
browsers that work the best for virtual visits are Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
4. The web address will bring the patient to a screen where they will need
to enter their name.
This is the name that will show up in the provider waiting room. The window
will also indicate if the provider is currently online in the upper right
hand side of the screen. If the provider is not yet online, you can still
enter the waiting room and simply wait until they are.
5. After you enter your name, click “check in” which will take
you to a screen that will ask you to enable your camera.Click the “enable

the provider allows you in from their dashboard.Your provider will then
begin your Virtual Visit.
