100,000 sq. ft. hospital expansion coming soon

OMC Candy Cart

To celebrate the holidays, OMC Administration rolls a Candy Cart through the main campus of the health system, offering a cup of cheer to both staff and visitors during the holidays. The wooden sleigh mounted on a cart was designed by Lisa Culver, wife of Steve Culver, OMC’s Director of Service Excellence. The cart was built, painted and decorated by the Culvers along Tom Keller, President and CEO of OMC, who enjoys building with wood as a hobby. The cart contains a variety of candy and nuts and scoops to fill cups with candy. “Our system of care takes care of patients’ health every day including holidays. Choosing health care as a career means knowing that you will work some holidays during your career. But for our patients and their families, no one really ‘chooses’ to be in the hospital this time of year. We want to provide exceptional compassionate care to those who find themselves in our care,” said Keller. “We also want our staff to know how much they are appreciated and valued for the work they do.”
