Wound Care Receives National Award

OMC Wound Care Services recognized with national award for clinical excellence

Achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for twelve consecutive months

Ozarks Medical Center physicians, leaders and clinicians gathered recently to celebrate the Center of Distinction Award, which was given to Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) Wound Care Services by Healogics, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services. OMC Wound Care Services achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for twelve consecutive months, including patient satisfaction higher than 92 percent, a minimum wound healing rate of at least 91 percent within 30 median days to heal, and other quality outcomes. There were 506 centers eligible for the Center of Distinction award and only 172 achieved the honor.

“We are extremely proud of OMC’s Wound Care Services for earning this distinction. The physicians, nurses and staff should be congratulated for a job well done,” said Tom Keller, President and CEO of OMC. “This is an example of the exceptional compassionate care that is our mission at OMC.”
