Donation to CTC

Ozarks Medical Center’s Cancer Treatment Center received a donation of more than 70 knitted “chemo caps” by Roberta Svuba, grandmother of Cammie Svuba, DC of Healthy Lifestyles in West Plains. Roberta’s son-in-law had been diagnosed with liver cancer and she had begun knitting the caps for him to use during his chemo treatments. Then she just “kept on knitting.” The OMC Cancer Treatment Center will make the hats available to its chemo patients. Accepting the donation, left to right: OMC coworkers Ashley Romans, RN; Brian Pence, past OMC CTC Director; and Chelsea Abbey, LPN; Svuba; and Amber Adamson, Program Director of Healthy Lifestyles.
