Nurse Practitioner Kayly King joins OMC Thayer and Alton Clinics
Kayly King, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, recently joined Ozarks Medical Center (OMC)
Thayer and Alton Clinics. King is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
“I love rural health care and being in rural clinics,” King
said. “Rural clinics were my goal. I want to work where you know
everyone, like neighbors caring for neighbors.”
King is from Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, and earned her Masters of Science
in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Arkansas State University (ASU)
School of Nursing in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She also completed her Bachelor
of Science in Nursing at ASU.
Prior to coming to OMC, King worked in OMC’s Intensive Care Unit
as a registered nurse. She also was a school nurse for Mammoth Spring
School District in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas.
“We are very excited to welcome Ms. King to the OMC medical staff,”
said OMC President and CEO Thomas Keller. “It’s always wonderful
when a local person decides to stay and practice close to home.”
King lives in Thayer with her husband Ryan and two sons, Cooper and Sawyer.
The rest of her family lives in Mammoth Spring.
King joins Harry Kelly, DO at OMC Alton and Thayer Clinics, which specializes
in family medicine and other services including workman’s comp,
mental health services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language
pathology, lab services, and digital x-ray. OMC Alton is located at 100
