OMC Behavioral Healthcare Participated in MARCs

Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) Behavioral Healthcare (BHC) participated in four Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs) to provide information and assistance to families impacted by the recent flooding. OMC BHC participated in events in West Plains, Alton, and Gainesville. The Missouri State Emergency Management Agency coordinated the events with local non-profit agencies and the American Red Cross. OMC BHC provided outreach services to 101 families during the four MARC events. The following OMC employees staffed the events: Toni Autrey, Christy Jackson, Amanda Huskey, Erik Carlson, Shayna Smithson, Linda Simmons, Kevin Phegley, Myriah Wallace, Richard McGee, and Kristy Groves. “It is great that OMC employees choose to live out our corporate mission by going out into the community to attend these events. Some people just needed to know we are available to help them. Others will need a higher level of care and we’ll be prepared to help,” said Richard McGee, OMC BHC Director.
