Stars ‘n Steeds to Perform at the 9th Annual OMC Foundation Blue Jean Ball
Stars ‘n Steeds Equestrian Drill Team from Willard, will be the outdoor
arena entertainment on Saturday, September 30 at the Ozarks Medical Center
(OMC) Foundation’s Ninth Annual Blue Jean Ball.
Stars ‘n Steeds was founded in 1999 by Louann Higgins and has performed
in front of thousands at rodeos, community events, fairs, shows, parades
and much more. They have competed at the National Championship Drill Team
Competition in Texas where they have won numerous national and reserve
national championship titles. In 2004, Stars ‘n Steeds was selected
to represent the state of Missouri in President Bush’s Inaugural Parade.
The Blue Jean Ball raises funds for programs and services that support
OMC’s mission of providing exceptional, compassionate care to all
we serve. An all-inclusive ticket includes filet mignon, bar-b-que pork
tenderloin, and black bean burger dinner with all the fixin’s and
beer, wine and sodas. Tickets are $50 until Friday, September 29 and may
be purchased at the OMC Foundation at No. 12 Parkway Center. Tickets are
$65 at the door, day of event.
Sponsorships, which include benefits of reserved seating in the “Sheriff’s
Tent” also are available. Items for the Silent Auction are needed
and still being accepted. Every year, a variety of items are donated from
baked goods to trips and are up for bid in the Silent Auction. For more
