Dr. Jeffrey Constantine joins OMC Medical Group
Dr. Jeffrey Constantine recently joined Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) Medical
Group as an Anesthesiologist.
Dr. Constantine has board certification in anesthesiology, internal medicine,
and echocardiography. He also is certified by the Federation of Licensing
Examiners. He completed his medical degree at Duke University School of
Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, and completed a Public Health Externship
in Anchorage Alaska. His undergraduate degree also is from Duke University.
Prior to coming to OMC, Dr. Constantine was a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist
at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama from 2002 to 2017. Prior
to his work in Huntsville, Dr. Constantine was a Staff Anesthesiologist
at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah and also Southeast
Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama from 1997 to 2002. He also served
as Assistant Professor for the Department of Anesthesiology and Surgery
at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences from 1995 to 1997.

and experience will be an asset to our anesthesia department.”
Dr. Constantine has been coming to West Plains since 2011 when he purchased
property in Peace Valley. He learned how to fly just so he could commute
between Alabama and West Plains. He is the father of two boys, one is
attending Western Kentucky University and the other is in high school
Dr. Constantine joins board certified anesthesiologists Daniel Thomas,
MD and Rodney Zimbelman, MD in the Anesthesia Department at OMC.
